An AI workshop that starts where your team is
Not every team needs a 40-hour programme to start saving time with AI. Many need to first understand what makes sense for their specific work, try things live and leave with something they can apply on Monday. That is what the workshop is for: a short, practical, no-filler format that fits into a half-day.
The workshop is not tied to one specific tool. We work with whichever tools make sense for the team given their context: text assistants, image tools, light automation, document analysis. The goal is not to cover the AI market but for each participant to leave with at least one solved use case and the judgment to keep progressing on their own, or with real information to decide whether to go deeper with a full programme.
Why a workshop rather than a full course straight away
Low commitment, immediate value
A full 16-40h programme requires planning, blocked schedules and an approved budget. The workshop fits in an afternoon and needs none of that. It is the ideal format when the team wants to explore before committing, or when management wants to see the impact before investing in longer training.
Hands-on from minute one
There are no long theory blocks. Within the first 20 minutes the team is already testing tools with their own use cases. The short format forces a focus on what works and cuts out what does not apply to the team right now.
Tool-agnostic, use-case-driven
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, image tools, automation tools. We have no interest in selling a specific tool: we work with whichever ones make sense for the team's real workflow. The criterion is what solves the participant's problem, not what is trending.
The natural step before a full programme
Many of the teams that later book a 16-40h course with IAescola started with the workshop. The workshop resolves the initial question (is this useful for us?) and, if the answer is yes, the company already has the information to design the next programme with much more confidence.
How the workshop works
1. 15-minute pre-briefing
Before the workshop we have a short call with the organiser to understand the sector, the team's role and the 2-3 use cases they care most about. We do not improvise: the workshop arrives prepared for the team's real context.
2. Fast, practical introduction
We kick off with a 30-40 minute live demo showing what AI can do in recognisable cases for the team. No technical jargon, no history of artificial intelligence, straight to what matters.
3. Group practice with real cases
The team splits into small groups and works with their own cases: an email that takes up too much time, a report they write every week, an information search that could go faster. Each group leaves with something produced, not just a demo.
4. Wrap-up and roadmap
We close with a summary of what was validated: which tools make sense for this team, which use cases to prioritise, what not to delegate to AI, and whether it makes sense to go deeper with a fuller programme. The team leaves with clear judgment, not just enthusiasm.

What is the difference between the workshop and a full course?
The workshop is a short format (2-4h, half-day) for practical initiation. The goal is for the team to understand what AI can do for their work and leave with at least one solved use case. A full course (8-40h) covers more tools, works through department-specific cases in greater depth, includes a GDPR and privacy protocol, and leaves the team with a documented workflow. The workshop is the first step; the course is the full programme. Many teams do the workshop first to make the decision with real information.
Does the workshop depend on a specific tool like ChatGPT or Copilot?
No. The workshop is tool-agnostic. We work with whichever tools make sense for the team given their context: if they use Microsoft 365, we will look at Copilot. If they prefer general-purpose text assistants, we will look at ChatGPT or Claude. If the team creates visual content, we will explore image tools. The criterion is what solves the real problem, not what is trending.
Is the workshop FUNDAE-subsidised?
It depends on the duration and the specific configuration. FUNDAE has minimum hour requirements for a training activity to be subsidised. A 2h workshop may not meet them; a 4h one is more likely to if it is documented correctly. We verify with you before starting whether the workshop you are planning is subsidised. If it is not, we tell you in advance.
How many people can take part in the workshop?
The workshop works well with groups of 4 to 20 people so the practical part has real interaction. For larger groups (up to 50 people) we combine a plenary presentation with simultaneous small-group work. For more than 50 people we recommend the AI keynote format, which is a different product with a different approach.
Is the workshop in-person or online?
Both. The in-person format works especially well for workshops with teams in the same physical space: group dynamics and practice flow more naturally. Live online works well for distributed teams or when it is easier to connect from the workstation. We define the format in the pre-briefing call.
If the workshop goes well, what is the natural next step?
At the end of the workshop we share a concrete roadmap: which use cases to prioritise, which tools to go deeper on, which programme format makes most sense for the team (in-company, online, by department). If there is interest in continuing, we design the next programme together using the information gathered during the workshop. No pressure: the workshop is complete in itself.
