A trainer who comes from education

Educational centres face a double pressure: students already use ChatGPT for their coursework and teaching staff often lack the criteria and the tools to guide that use, or to make the most of AI in their own work. In addition, the European AI Act (article 4, in force since 2 February 2025) asks organisations to take reasonable measures so that their staff have a sufficient level of AI literacy, depending on the context and use.

IAescola is not a tech consultancy parachuting into classrooms without context. Julien has more than 30 years of teaching experience, 15 as a secondary school teacher, and knows from the inside how a staff meeting, a teaching plan and an assessment process actually work. That educational perspective is what makes the training genuinely applicable, not just a generic talk about AI.

What we can do at your centre

1

Teacher and staff training

The whole teaching team learns to use AI to prepare materials, design activities, generate and vary assessments, personalise support for diverse learners and reclaim time. With clear guidance on privacy and student data protection.

2

AI literacy (AI Act art. 4)

Sessions covering the AI literacy obligation under European law: what AI is, what it can and cannot do, risks, bias and responsible use. Adapted to your centre's level and fully documentable.

3

AI integrated into the curriculum

We help departments decide where and how AI fits into each subject or programme, with real activities and assessment criteria. Especially valuable in VET programmes, where AI is already part of the graduate professional profile.

4

Student workshops

Hands-on workshops for students on responsible use, ethical limits, deepfake detection, critical thinking and tools relevant to their learning pathway. Adapted by age group and programme.

How we work

1. Centre assessment

We speak with the management team or the relevant department: starting point, needs, schedule and format (on-site or online). No commitment required.

2. Tailored proposal

We design the programme around the profile (teaching staff, specific VET programme, university) and your objectives. We define duration, format and language.

3. Applied training

Practical sessions using real cases from your educational context. No abstract theory: you leave with activities, templates and criteria you can use the following week.

4. Certificate and follow-up

A certificate of participation for all attendees and, depending on the programme, ongoing support as the centre puts what it has learnt into practice.

A real example

One example: a vocational training (FP) administration programme on the Costa Brava has entrusted us with 9 hours of training on AI applied to the students' professional profile, for the 2026-27 academic year. It is the kind of engagement that fits the new framework: practical, grounded in the programme and aligned with what companies already ask for. Out of respect for the centre, we do not publish its name without permission.

Subsidies and contracting

The route depends on the type of centre. Private and state-subsidised centres with salaried staff under the general Social Security regime can subsidise teacher training through FUNDAE, and IAescola handles all the paperwork. Public centres arrange it through their own procedure (the centre's or the governing authority's budget or procurement). In both cases we tell you the route before starting.

  • 1

Private and subsidised centres: full calculation and management of the FUNDAE subsidy (code 9900033425).

  • 2

Public centres and universities: a quote that fits your procurement procedure.

  • 3

Always with a certificate of participation for each attendee and documentation for the centre's records.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with VET centres, secondary schools and universities?

Yes. We adapt the content to the type of centre and the audience: secondary school staff teams, VET programme departments and university teaching teams. We define the starting point and objectives during the initial assessment.

What is the AI literacy obligation under the AI Act?

Article 4 of the European AI regulation, in force since 2 February 2025, asks organisations that use AI systems to take measures so that the people who use them have a sufficient level of AI literacy. In educational centres this includes teaching and support staff. Our sessions help cover this literacy in a documentable way.

Is the training for teaching staff or for students?

For both, depending on what you need. We can train the teaching team only, run workshops for students only, or combine both in a whole-centre programme.

Do you deliver on-site at our centre?

Yes, we travel to centres across Catalonia. For distributed teams or one-off sessions we also deliver live online, with the same hands-on component.

Can the cost be subsidised?

For private and state-subsidised centres with salaried staff under the general regime, yes: we handle the full FUNDAE subsidy. Public centres arrange it through their own procedure. We clarify this before starting.
