AICourseforSales

AI does not close deals for you. But it does research accounts in minutes, personalises proposals at scale and keeps the CRM clean without the sales rep losing time on admin tasks. That changes everything.

AI in sales: for reps who want to sell more, not do more admin

The sales team is the one with the least free time to explore new tools. And paradoxically, it is where AI has the most direct and measurable impact: less time researching accounts before a call, less time writing the same follow-up email in a slightly different version, less time updating the CRM after every meeting. Those recovered hours turn into more calls, more proposals and better-quality follow-up.

In the training we work through the concrete use cases of the sales cycle: how to use AI to prepare a meeting with a prospect in 10 minutes instead of an hour, how to generate personalised prospecting emails at scale without them sounding like templates, how to extract a meeting summary and update the CRM automatically, and how to support forecasting with pipeline analysis without depending on the data team. And also which judgements are not delegated: reading the client's situation, negotiation and any sensitive account data.

What changes when the sales team uses AI well

1

Account research that used to take an hour

Before calling a prospect, the sales rep needs to understand the business, the sector's challenges, the competitors and the key contacts. With AI, that pre-meeting briefing takes 10-15 minutes. Not to impress with data, but to ask better questions and arrive at the conversation with real context.

2

Personalised emails without writing each one from scratch

The first email contact needs to feel personal even if you are reaching out to 50 prospects. AI can take each account's information and generate a personalised variant of the same base message in seconds. The rep reviews, adjusts the tone and sends. The difference between a generic email and one that says 'I saw you just opened a new office in Valencia' is not trivial.

3

CRM updated without the rep losing the afternoon

Updating the CRM after every meeting is the task every sales rep hates and every manager needs. With AI, the meeting summary and next steps are generated from your notes in under a minute, in the CRM's format. The rep then reviews and pastes. What used to take 20 minutes now takes 3.

4

Proposals that adapt to the client, not to the Word template

A generic proposal that does not reflect the client's specific challenges is far less likely to advance. With AI, the rep can generate a personalised proposal draft from their meeting notes, the account information and the relevant products or services. The result needs refining, but the starting point is already concrete.

How we run the training

1. Mapping the current sales cycle

We review the team's real commercial process: prospecting, first contact, meetings, proposal, follow-up and close. We identify which stages offer the most time savings without affecting the quality of the client relationship.

2. Exercises with real accounts and sectors

We work with the team's actual client types, the sector's language and existing sales arguments. The exercises produce materials the rep can use the following week: email templates, account research scripts, proposal formats.

3. Confidentiality and client data protocol

A dedicated module on which client information cannot be entered into public AI tools (contract data, agreed prices, strategic account information) and how to work with AI while maintaining commercial confidentiality.

4. Integration with the CRM and team tools

We look at how to connect AI with the tools the team already uses: Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or any common CRM. The goal is for AI to be embedded in the existing workflow, not just another tool to open.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI replace the sales rep in the client relationship?

No, and that is not the objective. Trust, reading the client's real situation, negotiation and the judgement of when to push and when to wait are human skills that AI does not replicate. What AI can do is eliminate the administrative and preparation work that takes time away from what sales reps do best: being with the client. In the training we make very clear what to delegate and what not to.

Which client information cannot be used with public AI tools?

Signed contract data, negotiated prices, purchase volumes, confidential strategic account information and any data the client shared under NDA or with an expectation of confidentiality. The practical rule: if you would not publish that information in a public presentation, do not put it into ChatGPT. In the training we set out the protocol for what can be processed with external AI and what requires tools with specific data processing agreements.

Does it work for complex B2B sales with long cycles, or only for transactional sales?

It works especially well in B2B with long cycles, where there are more research phases, more contacts to manage and more documentation to produce (proposals, comparisons, follow-ups). In transactional sales the impact also exists but is more concentrated in prospecting and follow-up. We adapt exercises to the team's type of sale.

How does AI help with forecasting when data is not 100% reliable?

AI does not make magic predictions with dirty data, but it can analyse the pipeline more systematically: identifying patterns in which opportunities advance and which stall, summarising each account's status so the manager has a quick view of the team, and flagging anomalies that a manual review would take hours to detect. Forecasting still depends on data quality, but AI cuts the analysis time.

Is there a risk that AI-generated emails sound artificial and damage the brand image?

Yes, if misused. An AI email without review, without real personalisation and without a human tone is easy to spot and harms the relationship. In the training we work on exactly how to avoid this: how to instruct AI to produce concise, direct output (not the verbose text AI defaults to), how to add the personalisation element that makes the difference, and how to review the email before sending so it sounds like the person, not the model.

How long does it take for the team to notice a real change in productivity?

Sales reps who apply what they learned from day one notice the impact within 1-2 weeks. The most immediate use cases (pre-meeting account research, post-meeting summaries, follow-up emails) are the ones that get adopted fastest because the benefit is obvious from the first use. The more complex ones (proposal generation, pipeline analysis) need a little more practice before the flow feels fluid.
