AI Agents for Companies
An AI agent is a program that, given a goal, decides what steps to take and carries out tasks using data and tools, with human oversight. It's not the same as a chatbot that only answers questions. At IAescola we train your team to design agents, and we also build them for you: training is tailored to your team (quoted per group; companies in Spain may claim FUNDAE rebates, subject to available credit and applicable requirements) or a custom project quoted by scope, with a free first diagnosis.

Coming on your own?
You can also take the AI agents course on your own, to understand what they are and build your first one with your own tasks.
- What you learn
- What sets an agent apart from a chatbot, how you give it a goal, data and tools, and where human supervision goes. You build a simple agent with visual tools such as n8n or Make, with no programming needed to start.
- What it is like
- In an open group with other people who come on their own, or in private lessons; live online or in person in Catalonia.
- Certificate
- At the end you receive an IAescola certificate of participation.
- Price
- Open group course: €160 per person. Private lessons: €80 per hour or 5-hour pack: €350. VAT included.
- Payment
- Direct payment by bank transfer. FUNDAE funding only applies to companies in Spain.
It is a waiting list: joining commits you to nothing.
What an AI agent is (and how it differs from a chatbot)
A chatbot answers one question after another: you ask, it replies, and that's where its job ends. An AI agent is given a goal ('answer this type of email', 'check this invoice and log it') and decides for itself which steps are needed: it checks data, uses tools, chains actions together, and only asks for confirmation when it should. The difference is autonomy, within rules you define.
There are two ways to get AI agents working in your company. The first is training your team to design and maintain them with tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot Studio, Claude, n8n or Make. The second is having us build them for you, tailored to your process. You can combine both: train one point person and ask us to build the first agent to get something running.
What an AI agent can do in your company
Customer support
Answers repetitive questions (opening hours, order status, common queries), hands off to a person when the case needs it, and keeps a record of every conversation. It takes the repetitive volume off the team's plate.
Sales
Qualifies inbound leads, handles the first contact outside office hours, prepares a customer summary before a call, and flags an opportunity that's gone quiet for days.
Administration and invoices
Reads an invoice or delivery note, extracts the key data, checks it against the order, and leaves it ready to review and approve. A person still validates it and the agent does the mechanical work.
HR
Answers employees' common questions (holidays, payslips, internal policies), does a first screening of applications against criteria you set, and keeps each process's documentation organised.
How an AI agent is built, step by step
- 01
Choose a task and a goal
A specific, repetitive task is defined, such as 'answer order-status queries' rather than 'automate the department', along with the result it needs to produce. The narrower the goal, the better the agent works.
- 02
Data and tools
The agent is connected to what you already use: email, CRM, a spreadsheet, a product catalogue. It works with your real data, not generic information.
- 03
Human oversight and rules
The limits are set: what the agent can decide on its own and what needs a person to review or approve before it runs. Human oversight is part of the design.
- 04
Measure and improve
Results are reviewed against real cases, mistakes are fixed, and the agent is only extended once the first case works reliably.

AI agent training eligible for FUNDAE funding (fully or partially, subject to available credit and applicable requirements)
IAescola is a registered training provider (code 9900033425) and a FUNDAE organising entity. This applies to training your team, not to building an agent for you: that's a development project, not a training activity, and it isn't eligible for FUNDAE funding.
- 01Registration of the training action and start notification of the group to FUNDAE within the deadlines.
- 02Delivery documentation: attendance, assessment and certificates of achievement or attendance.
- 03Final supporting documentation so your company can offset the cost against Social Security contributions.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI agent?
It's a program that, given a goal you set, decides what steps to take and carries out tasks using data and tools, with human oversight. It goes beyond answering questions and acts on a process.
What's the difference between a chatbot and an AI agent?
A chatbot converses: it answers what you ask. An AI agent acts: it's given a goal, chains together several steps (checking data, using tools, making decisions within set rules) and only asks for confirmation when needed.
How is an AI agent built?
You choose a specific task and its goal, connect it to the data and tools you already use, set the limits for human oversight, and measure the result against real cases before extending it. We cover this in the training or in the free diagnosis.
How much does it cost to build an AI agent?
It depends on whether we train your team or build it ourselves. Both are quoted case by case: training per group, which may qualify for FUNDAE rebates, subject to available credit and applicable requirements; a custom build by project scope. The first diagnosis is free. Message us on WhatsApp, call us or fill in the form and we will prepare it for you.
Are there free AI agents?
Some tools let you try simple agents at no cost, but their terms change often, so check them on each provider's website. For business processes with real data, supervision and maintenance, what matters is how the agent is designed and choosing a plan that suits your data.
Do you run an AI agents course? Can I take it on my own?
Yes, we train your team to design, connect and oversee agents using tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot Studio, Claude, n8n or Make, with cases from your sector. In person in Catalonia, live online across Spain. And if you come on your own, we are preparing open-group editions, live online or in person in Catalonia: join the list for the next one and we will write to you with dates and price before you confirm anything. FUNDAE funding is for companies training their staff, so it does not apply to individuals.
Is it safe to give an AI agent company data?
It depends on how it's set up: which tool is used, what data the agent can see, and what decisions it can make without oversight. In every training and custom project, we take into account from the design stage data protection (GDPR) and what the EU AI Act requires on human oversight.
Do I need to know how to code to build an AI agent?
Not to start. A first agent can be built with visual tools such as n8n or Make, by defining its goal, its instructions and the tools it may use. Coding helps when the agent has to connect to in-house systems or make more delicate decisions, and that is also where more supervision is needed.
